Mark dedicates ORTT to T&T's working class

A deeply hum­bled Sen­ate Pres­i­dent Wade Mar yes­ter­day ded­i­cat­ed his Or­der of the Re­pub­lic of Trinidad and To­ba­go award to the na­tion’s work­ing-class cit­i­zens.

“I am very ho­n­oured and very hum­bled by this na­tion­al award that has been be­stowed up­on me,” he said fol­low­ing the Na­tion­al Awards Cer­e­mo­ny at Queen’s Hall, Port-of-Spain.

“I would like to ded­i­cate this to the work­ing peo­ple, the or­di­nary peo­ple and the grass­roots peo­ple of Trinidad and To­ba­go be­cause with­out them I would not be who I am to­day.
