Three poÂlice ofÂfiÂcers have been freed of mulÂtiÂple charges for alÂlegedÂly robÂbing two civilÂians, afÂter proÂlonged deÂlays in prosÂeÂcutÂing their case.
EarÂliÂer this week, Dion OtÂtÂley, Ryan GranÂdiÂson, and Steve Williams were disÂcharged by High Court MasÂter MarÂgaret Sookraj-GoswaÂmi, who upÂheld an apÂpliÂcaÂtion filed by their leÂgal team, led by SeÂnior CounÂsel KeiÂth ScotÂland, over the conÂduct of State prosÂeÂcuÂtors.
The ofÂfiÂcers were iniÂtialÂly charged in earÂly 2016, folÂlowÂing alÂleÂgaÂtions that they robbed two men of cash and jewÂellery while armed with their serÂvice pisÂtols.
