While enĀcourĀaged by the inĀcreased deĀmand for elecĀtric veĀhiĀcles (EVs) in Trinidad and ToĀbaĀgo, brand manĀagĀer and team leader for BYD T&T, KerĀri-Ann SeerĀatĀtan, is warnĀing the pubĀlic against purĀchasĀing EVs from unauĀthoĀrised dealĀers.
SeerĀatĀtan made the plea at the launch of the BYD DolĀphin MiĀni at BriĀan Laraās resĀiĀdence earĀliĀer this month, as in reĀcent weeks sevĀerĀal car dealĀers have notĀed a numĀber of car imĀporters have emerged with reĀduced overĀhead costs via limĀitĀed manĀpowĀer opĀerĀaĀtions.
Car dealĀers have statĀed that this ofĀten leaves both conĀsumers and auĀthoĀrised dealĀers beĀing tasked with reĀpairĀing veĀhiĀcles which are not tried and testĀed for the loĀcal cliĀmate.
