A British-Trinidadian businessman is missing following a daylight kidnapping along the Southern Main Road, Cunupia, on Friday afternoon.

The victim has been identified as 46-year-old Zaheer Esat, a dual citizen of Trinidad and Tobago and the United Kingdom, and owner of a private school for troubled youth in Leicestershire, UK.

Esat, who was visiting Trinidad, was abducted around 1:50 p.m. while travelling with his father, retired Imam Yusuf Esat, 70, and his brother-in-law, Imran Matvadia.
