Kingston Public Hospital (KPH) is stepping up its fight against breast cancer with expanded access to breast-conserving procedures and minimally invasive surgery for axillary lymph nodes.
The hospital is also strengthening its multidisciplinary approach to breast cancer treatment, bringing specialists together to improve outcomes and the patient experience.
Through its Breast Cancer Clinic, KPH has assembled breast surgical oncologists, medical and radiation oncologists, physiotherapists and pharmacists to coordinate care based on each patient’s clinical needs.
