The People’s National Movement (PNM) has announced the appointment of three Deputy Political Leaders. The announcement was made during the first meeting of the party’s General Council since its June 22nd internal election, held on Saturday at Balisier House.
Political Leader Pennelope Beckles, unveiled the appointments as part of her inaugural address to the General Council.
Veteran parliamentarian Colm Imbert was named Deputy Political Leader for Legislative Affairs, while former Minister of Labour Jennifer Baptiste-Primus will serve as Deputy Political Leader for Party and Election Matters. Policy strategist Sanjiv Boodhu, who assumes the role of Deputy Political Leader for Policy.
