Beaten, stabbed and strangled

Municipal police corporal Anuska Eversley died from strangulation, Commissioner of Police Allister Guevarro said yesterday.

She was also beaten and stabbed, as Guevarro noted that Eversley’s autopsy also found evidence of blunt force trauma and sharp force injuries.

Guevarro was speaking during a news conference at the police administration building at Edward Street in Port of Spain.
