The Ch­agua­nas Cham­ber of Com­merce (CCIC) has wel­comed the an­nounce­ment that the Na­tion­al Bud­get 2025/2026 will be pre­sent­ed on Mon­day, Oc­to­ber 13.

CCIC head Bal­dath Ma­haraj said the busi­ness com­mu­ni­ty looks for­ward with cau­tious op­ti­mism and high ex­pec­ta­tions for the mea­sures and poli­cies to be out­lined.

He said, “The Cham­ber looks for­ward to a bud­get that stim­u­lates busi­ness con­fi­dence, strength­ens sup­port for small and medi­um-sized en­ter­pris­es, ad­dress­es crit­i­cal is­sues such as crime and in­fra­struc­ture, im­proves the ease of do­ing busi­ness, and sets a clear path for eco­nom­ic growth and na­tion­al de­vel­op­ment.
