PRIME Minister Stuart Young is promising virtual doctor visits for senior citizens and cheaper access to data for young citizens.
Speaking at the PNM meeting at Exodus panyard in Tunapuna on Saturday night, he said seeing a doctor virtually would save the aged from having to leave their homes early in the morning and going and sitting down in a health centre for five hours for a five-minute consultation.
He said the Government had been investing in digitising the public healthcare system and making sure that patients’ records are there.
