Chief Investment Officer of the Guyana Office for Investment (GO-Invest), Dr Peter Ramsaroop, has stated that approximately 189 new, expansionary and mixed investment projects and agreements were facilitated over the past six years.
This represents $1.06 trillion in private economic investment, with foreign investors accounting for about 73 per cent of recorded investment.
The investment surge is not being driven by foreign capital alone.
