(Kaieteur News) – A group of miners were caught on camera torturing an indigenous man they accused of stealing a gold mat.
The victim was identified as Andray D’oliviera of Essequibo Coast, Region. According to reports reaching Kaieteur the incident took place on Saturday at 14 Miles Backdam, North West District.
It was video recorded and went viral after the footage was uploaded on social media platforms.
