A call is being made for greater equality in caregiving in Barbados.
The Bureau of Gender Affairs is using its “Sharing Care” campaign to challenge traditional expectations around who should be responsible for children, older persons and other dependants.
Minister of People, Empowerment and Elder Affairs Adrian Forde says the evidence shows a significant imbalance between men and women when it comes to unpaid care work.
