KINGSTON, Jamaica — The management team of late reggae artiste Fantan Mojah has moved to clarify the official representation of the singer, stating that Ray Stephens has no authority to speak on behalf of the artiste, his family or his estate.
In a statement issued on Saturday following Fantan Mojah’s passing, the management team said, “Ray Stephens has had no involvement with Fantan Mojah for nearly four years and is not authorised to represent or speak on behalf of Fantan Mojah, his family or his estate on any platform.”
The statement further confirmed that at the time of his passing, Fantan Mojah was managed by Unstoppable Fyah and Carey James, who remain the authorised management representatives for the artiste. The statement was issued by Unstoppable Fyah and Carey James reportedly on behalf of Fantan Mojah’s management and his family.
