TWO Chinese nationals who were charged with trafficking two Venezuelan children have been freed after a High Court judge ruled that the prosecution failed to prove a key element of its case.
Chang Bao Wang and Wei Liang Wu were found not guilty on Thursday following a trial before Justice Kathy Ann Waterman Latchoo at the O’Meara Judicial Centre.
The men had been jointly charged with two counts of trafficking the children under the Trafficking in Persons Act.
