A 32 year-old Bor­de Narve man suf­fered se­ri­ous head in­juries af­ter he was at­tacked with a piece of wood dur­ing an ar­gu­ment with a vil­lager.

Some­time af­ter 2 pm on Mon­day the man was walk­ing along Cipero Road, Bor­de Narve, when he stopped near the scale yard to talk to a neigh­bour.

The sus­pect, who lives in the area, ac­cost­ed him and they be­gan to ar­gue. The sus­pect then struck the vic­tim with a piece of wood, caus­ing in­juries.
