Long-standing Barbados manufacturer Solar Dynamics Limited, an internationally-recognised pioneer of solar water heating technology, is facing an uncertain future.

The assets of the company, which was established in 1974 and has operations at Grazettes Industrial Park, St Michael, and a subsidiary in St Lucia, have been put up for sale two months after falling into the hands of a receiver.

In recent weeks, a series of advertisements seeking buyers for the plant, inventory, machinery, equipment, vehicles and other “charged assets” of the company have been published in The Nation.
