The Gov­ern­ment’s 2026 De­vel­op­ment Pro­gramme in­cludes sev­er­al new ini­tia­tives, among them the es­tab­lish­ment of a Spe­cial An­ti-Crime Unit, a Dis­as­ter Re­lief Fund for the To­ba­go House of As­sem­bly (THA), and the cre­ation of a steel­pan man­u­fac­tur­ing sec­tor.
