Woman abducted, missing after La Romaine home invasion

A woman was abducted by two masked men who robbed her and another woman of cash and cell phones during a home invasion in La Romaine in the early hours of Sunday.

The woman, identified in the police report only as “Maria”, was reportedly returning from work to her home on Hector Street around 3.30 a.m. when she was accosted by the men while opening the front door.

Police were told that two men, who wore face masks and dark clothing, announced a robbery and forced her into the house, where a 29-year-old Venezuelan woman, was asleep.
