MANCHESTER, Jamaica — A 60-year-old man succumbed to injuries he sustained after he was struck by several lengths of steel being delivered by a truck in Balvenie Heights, Mandeville on Thursday.
Police identified him as Robert Dawes, a resident of George Reid district in Mandeville.
Dawes was reportedly sitting under a tree about 10:30 am on Thursday when the building material fell from the delivery truck and struck him.
