THE BIOLOGICAL mother of a student who died after collapsing during a basketball game in Tobago is claiming she is being denied access to her son’s body and information about its whereabouts.
On February 5, 18-year-old Michael Okubosa, a 6B student of the Scarborough Secondary School, collapsed at the Montgomery Hard Court in Bethel during a game against the Bishop’s High School. He was rushed to the Scarborough General Hospital where he later died. The late Okubosa dreamed of being an NBA star.
