Those were the sim­ple words of St Mar­garet’s An­gli­can Pri­ma­ry School stu­dent Michael Mur­rell, af­ter learn­ing he had se­cured a place at St An­tho­ny’s Col­lege, as thou­sands of stu­dents across Trinidad and To­ba­go cel­e­brat­ed their Sec­ondary En­trance As­sess­ment (SEA) re­sults yes­ter­day.

While many fam­i­lies checked the re­sults from the com­fort of their homes on Thurs­day night in­to yes­ter­day, the ex­cite­ment was no less in­tense, with par­ents erupt­ing in cel­e­bra­tion and chil­dren re­flect­ing on months of hard work that had fi­nal­ly paid off.
