MFS Capital Partners Limited has completed its acquisition of Century Business Machines Limited, adding an office supplies, technology, and furniture provider to a group whose revenue is dominated by foreign-exchange trading.
The Junior Market-listed private equity company said it acquired 100 per cent of CBM’s issued shares, making the Jamaican business a wholly owned subsidiary.
MFS announced the completion on August 21, saying all conditions precedent to closing had been “satisfied and/or waived”. It did not disclose the purchase price, how the transaction was financed, the identities of the sellers or which conditions, if any, were waived.
