National Gas Company Chairman Gerald Ramdeen says Trinidad and Tobago is days away from major energy sector announcements that could signal a new phase of gas development and investment.

He said the announcements will come from Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar.

“In the energy sector, in particular, there is going to be delivery. For years you have heard about Dragon. For years you have heard about Manakin-Cocuina. For years you have heard about Manatee and Loran. What you are going to experience and what the people of this country and the region is going to experience is the actual monetisation of molecules that will bring revenue to the people of this country.”
