Pochettino believes Tottenham should be awarded 2017 Premier League title

Mauricio Pochettino believes Chelsea should be stripped of the 2016-17 Premier League title because of financial breaches and that the Tottenham team he managed that season should be awarded the honour retrospectively.

In July, Chelsea were fined £10 million (US$13.4 million) and handed a suspended two-window transfer ban after appealing penalties for breaching English Football Association agent regulations.

“We should have been awarded it,” Pochettino said in published interviews yesterday.
