Two sus­pects have been ar­rest­ed in con­nec­tion with the mur­der of 22-year-old Trevorn Walk­er, who was am­bushed and shot dead ear­ly Tues­day morn­ing in Mo­ri­ah.

Se­nior po­lice of­fi­cers con­firmed the ar­rests took place around 1.45 pm yes­ter­day dur­ing an in­tel­li­gence-led op­er­a­tion in the Sig­nal Hill area. The men, ages 38 and 42, were placed in cus­tody and have been as­sist­ing po­lice with en­quiries. Charges are ex­pect­ed soon.

Walk­er, a sales­man, was killed around 2.30 am on Tues­day. Po­lice said he was dri­ving a sil­ver Axio along High­land Road when an­oth­er ve­hi­cle pulled in front of his car, forc­ing him to stop. He raised an alarm, jumped out of the car, and ran in­to near­by bush­es. Gun­shots rang out mo­ments lat­er.
