THE funeral service for 13-year-old Krishan Khanhai, who was ­recently shot and killed at his Marabella home, was held yesterday without the presence of his father and siblings.

His sister told the Express that she and his brother had safety concerns while Krishan’s dad and stepmother, who were wounded in the shooting, remain in critical condition at the San Fernando General Hospital.

The shooting occurred on June 11 at Tramline Road, Union Park East, in Marabella during what investigators believe was a robbery at the home of doubles vendors Krishna Khanhai and Leela Pariag.
