Road fatalities have gone past the 100 mark, reaching 105 as of May 22, according to the latest crash statistics released by the Island Traffic Authority (ITA).
Despite reaching triple figures, the ITA is reporting a significant 28 per cent reduction or 41 fewer fatalities this year when compared to the similar period in 2025.
The fatalities have resulted from 94 fatal crashes, which are also down 28 per cent.
