TRELAWNY, Jamaica — President-elect of the Jamaica Teachers’ Association (JTA), Dr Maureen Mullings-Nelson, was rushed to hospital on Thursday afternoon after sustaining multiple injuries in a two-vehicle crash on the Duncans main road in Trelawny.
The crash, which occurred about 3:30 pm, involved two Honda CR-V motor vehicles.
Mullings-Nelson was a passenger in one of the vehicles, which was travelling from Montego Bay, St James, towards Kingston after a JTA Central Executive meeting at the Sea Gardens Hotel.
