Mico’s Dr Maureen Mullings-Nelson elected JTA president-elect designate

Veteran educator Dr Maureen Mullings-Nelson of The Mico University College has been elected President-Elect Designate of the Jamaica Teachers' Association (JTA) following the organisation's 2026 presidential election.

The election was held from June 15 to 19.

The other candidate was Dr Darien Henry of the Montego Bay Community College.
