Oie slams double as Western Tigers upset Police FC

(Kaieteur News) – The goals came in bunches as Guyana Football Federation’s Season Eight Elite League produced another weekend of attacking football, with Ann’s Grove Football Club, Santos FC and Western Tigers FC all claiming victories at the National Training Centre.

Julius Hamilton was the headline act on Saturday, firing a commanding hat-trick as Ann’s Grove powered past Den Amstel FC in a thrilling 5-3 encounter, while Tyrice Dennis matched his performance later in the day to steer Santos FC to a convincing 3-0 victory over Camptown FC.

Western Tigers then completed the weekend schedule on Sunday with an impressive 4-0 triumph over Police FC, with veteran Michael Junior Oie helping himself to a second-half brace.
