The High Court has awarded more than $.3 million to the estate of a Couva man Rishi Sankar, who was killed in a head-on collision on Orange Valley Main Road, Couva, in 2018.
The driver of the other vehicle was a senior police officer.
On Thursday, Justice Kevin Ramcharan awarded the sum to the estate of Rishi Sankar, 35, who was killed instantly after his Nissan Wingroad wagon collided with a black-Nissan X-Trail, an unmarked police vehicle, driven by Insp Kazim Ali.
