Min­is­ter of Fi­nance Dav­en­dranath Tan­coo will present the 2025/2026 Na­tion­al Bud­get in Par­lia­ment on Mon­day 13th Oc­to­ber at 1:30 p.m.

The pre­sen­ta­tion will out­line the Gov­ern­ment’s fis­cal plans and pri­or­i­ties for the up­com­ing year, in­clud­ing mea­sures to ad­dress na­tion­al de­vel­op­ment, so­cial sup­port, and eco­nom­ic sta­bil­i­ty.

This will be Tan­coo’s first bud­get pre­sen­ta­tion since as­sum­ing the Fi­nance port­fo­lio, and it comes amid forex short­ages, on­go­ing pub­lic an­tic­i­pa­tion for re­lief mea­sures to ad­dress the cost of liv­ing and stim­u­late busi­ness con­fi­dence.
