WORKS Minister Jearlean John promised to enhance the activities of the Cabo Star, the inter-island cargo ferry, ahead of its dry-docking due to take place on July 12-August 3, even as the boat must first sail for six days to reach its dry docking location. She gave the assurance as she addressed the post-Cabinet briefing on June 12 at the Red House, Port of Spain.
"We are going to heighten...The reason we were talking to the stakeholders yesterday was to assure them that we are going to have some stockpiling days.
"So prior to that boat going off to dry-docking, we are going to enhance the service of the Cabo Star into Tobago to ensure that...for the retailers who need to stock up.
