Man held after Port of Spain stabbing

A woman was stabbed and another man beaten during an attack in East Port of Spain on Sunday night.

Police said the woman was liming with a friend at a parlour along Nelson Street around 8 pm when a man known to her approached and began stabbing her.

A bystander who tried to intervene was also beaten during the attack.
