The Antigua and Barbuda Falcons became the first team to secure a place in this year’s Caribbean Premier League final after defeating the Guyana Amazon Warriors by nine wickets at Kensington Oval on Thursday.
Player-of-the-Match Shadab Khan and Rahkeem Cornwall were instrumental in the victory, with Khan leading the Falcons’ bowling attack and Cornwall starring with the bat.
The Falcons will face the winner of Friday’s qualifier between the Amazon Warriors and Jamaica Kingsmen in Sunday’s final.
