(Kaieteur News) – In communities like Byderabo Road, Bartica, where access to specialized educational support remains a challenge, Project New Nation (PNN) is making a meaningful difference in the lives of children experiencing literacy and learning challenges.
Through its Literacy Learning Programme, funded by the Greater Guyana Initiative (GGI), PNN is helping students develop essential reading and writing skills while building a strong foundation for long-term academic success. At the heart of PNN’s educational efforts, the programme provides targeted support designed to improve literacy outcomes and create greater opportunities for learning and personal growth.
The programme was developed in response to growing concerns about the number of children experiencing difficulties with reading, writing, comprehension, and communication skills, By offering individualized instruction and evidence-based literacy interventions, the programme helps students strengthen foundational skills, improve learning outcomes, and become more confident and engaged learners.
