Moonilal: US-Venezuela oil deal could benefit T&T

Venezuela’s interim President, Delcy Rodriguez, has announced what she described as “a historic agreement” with the US government, saying it will have “a significant impact on our nation’s revival”.

Rodriguez said the agreement follows the strengthening of relations between Venezuela and the United States.

Her announcement came after US President Donald Trump said on Friday that the United States had reached an agreement with Venezuela involving the development of oil reserves estimated at 65 billion barrels.
