Guyana’s President Dr Irfaan Ali was aboard an American Airlines flight returning to Miami International Airport on Thursday evening following a verbal dispute between a passenger and a flight attendant.
American Airlines Flight 339, which was travelling from Miami to Georgetown, Guyana, landed safely at the airport at about 19:00h after crew members reported a disturbance, according to a report by the Miami Herald.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed that it would investigate the incident.
