A JAMAICAN man who was freed on an attempted murder charge last year when he and three others poured acid on a Venezuelan man was shot and killed in Belmont on Thursday night.
Police said that around 9 p.m. Kemar 'Jameke' Miller, 28, who police described as the intended target along with a 14-year-old boy and two men, were liming around Miller as he sat on a beer crate off Davis Street, Belmont.
As the group spoke a grey Nissan AD Wagon drove past them. The driver then turned around and headed back and when the car got close to the group three men wearing masks got out the car and opened fire, aiming for Miller.
