Cit­i­zens Against Noise Pol­lu­tion of Trinidad and To­ba­go (CANPTT) has ex­pressed dis­ap­point­ment over what it de­scribes as a lack of ac­tion by the Gov­ern­ment on noise pol­lu­tion, while al­so rais­ing con­cern about the con­tin­ued in­ac­tion of the Trinidad and To­ba­go Po­lice Ser­vice (TTPS).

In a me­dia re­lease is­sued, the group said it had sub­mit­ted rec­om­men­da­tions in 2025 at the Gov­ern­ment’s re­quest and re­mained pa­tient while ex­pect­ing mean­ing­ful ac­tion.

“To date, there has been no progress, no up­dates, and no en­gage­ment,” the or­gan­i­sa­tion said.
