Two Santa Cruz men, 31-year-old labourer Angelo Leandre and Jeremiah Britto, were shot dead at Sun Valley Extension, La Canoa Road, Lower Santa Cruz on Friday night.

Police said around 8.25 pm, officers responded to reports of gunfire at the location and found Leandre lying on the roadway, face up, barefoot and bleeding from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Residents told police that Britto had already been placed in a gold Nissan Almera and rushed to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, where he died a short time later.
