Kaieteur News – Prime Minister Mark Phillips has revealed that two of the crew members rescued from the MV Barima, which capsized on Saturday night, tested positive for cannabis.
Phillips made the disclosure while providing an update on the ongoing response to the maritime disaster.
A probe was launched to examine all facts and circumstances surrounding the tragedy, including the accuracy of the vessel’s manifest, the loading of cargo, compliance with safety requirements, and the conduct of the captain and crew before and during the voyage.
