Two male suspects were arrested on Tuesday by Sangre Grande police officers following the report of a break-in at a business place in the area.
According to the TTPS, the business owner secured the place around 12:30 a.m. Shortly after, he received an alert on his phone indicating a disruption to the electricity supply. He returned to the business around 12:40 a.m., where he discovered signs of forced entry and saw two men inside the building. The owner contacted the police.
Officers held the two suspects. Several bags containing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as a box containing an assortment of cigarettes, were recovered from the yard.
