KINGSTON, Jamaica  — A man was ordered to pay a fine of $2,500 or spend 10 days in prison for possession of an offensive weapon when he appeared before the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on Tuesday.
According to the allegations, Levon Reid was found with a brown handle knife at a public place on Federal Avenue in Kingston.
Reid pleaded guilty to the charge before Parish Court Judge Cadeen Barnett Plunkett and was subsequently sentenced.
