President of Cricket West Indies, Dr. Kishore Shallow, has responded to the team's painful Test defeat to Australia, urging fans not to lose faith in the rebuilding West Indies side.

Acknowledging the deep disappointment felt across the region, Dr. Shallow emphasised the need for unity and perseverance.

As an immediate step, he has called for an emergency meeting of the Cricket Strategy and Officiating Committee, inviting legendary batsmen Sir Clive Lloyd, Sir Vivian Richards, and Brian Lara to join existing members like Dr. Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Desmond Haynes.
