(Kaieteur News) – Continuing with the upgrade of the Lake Mainstay Access Road in Region Two, the Ministry of Public Works is planning to spend an estimated $1,017,064,800 to execute phase two of the project.
According to the recent tender minutes published by the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB), a total of eight contractors submitted bids for the project which will be done in four lots. Each lot is estimated price tag of $254,266,200, amounting to just over $1 billion.
Phase two of the project will see another 1km of the Mainstay access road being upgraded.
