WESTMORELAND, Jamaica — The community of Auldayr in Westmoreland is mourning the death of a resident who was killed by a fallen tree.

The woman has been identified as Angela Powell. Details of her age and the exact time of the Tuesday morning incident were not immediately available.

Reports indicate that she was tending to her goats when a tree fell on her. She died on the spot.
