Jamaica’s athletes will be hoping to maximise their final opportunity to earn valuable points when the Wanda Diamond League circuit makes its 14th stop in Zurich, Switzerland, tomorrow. A strong contingent of 11 Jamaicans is set to compete.

The biggest attraction should be the women’s 100 metres at 1:32 p.m. Jamaica time, where Tina Clayton, Brianna Lyston, and Jonielle Smith will line up against a star-studded field featuring Olympic champion Julien Alfred, world champion Melissa Jefferson-Wooden, and American sprint star Sha’Carri Richardson.

Jefferson-Wooden enters the race as the form athlete after defeating Alfred and Richardson in Silesia on Sunday, clocking a season’s best 10.78 seconds. Alfred was second in 10.83, while Richardson finished third in 10.96. Lyston was fourth in 10.96, with Clayton sixth in 11.01.
