Finance Minister Davendranath Tancoo noted that the Tobago House of Assembly’s legislative buildings are scheduled to undergo significant upgrades. As a result, temporary accommodation will be needed to facilitate the Assembly’s operations, with the procurement process for a suitable building still underway.
“The assembly’s legislators’ buildings are to undergo significant upgrade to its electrical system, plumbing, and structure. And there will be a need to source a building that can accommodate both the staff and the assembly chamber. A suitable building is being sourced currently.”
