The Med­ical Coun­cil of Guyana (MCOG) says it has post­poned a de­ci­sion on the short-term reg­is­tra­tion of Trinida­di­an pathol­o­gist Dr Hu­bert Dais­ley, who has been iden­ti­fied by the fam­i­ly lawyers of 11-year-old Adri­ana Younge to pro­vide a fourth opin­ion in the on­go­ing in­ves­ti­ga­tion in­to her death.

Young was found dead in a pool at a ho­tel in Guyana late last month and ac­cord­ing to an au­top­sy con­duct­ed by three in­ter­na­tion­al­ly renowned pathol­o­gists, her death was due to drown­ing.

Sam­ples of the wa­ter and spec­i­mens from her body have been dis­patched to the Unit­ed States for test­ing, of­fi­cials have said.
